Backpacking 4-Day Meal Plan for 4

 

Day 1

beefey goulash (tomato sauce, beef bullion, egg noodles, 1/2 of a Gouda cheese and 1 summer sausage)

Day 2

Day 3

pancakes (Make 8 large pancakes- half for use for lunch)

PB&J sandwhiches (made from leftover breakfast pancakes)

grilled cheese (use tortillas)
vegetable noodle soup (Top Ramen noodles, freeze dried vegetables)

Snacks

Day 4

Breakfast

Cinamon buns


Lunch
Juice/Water
Crackers with peanutbutter fruit spread (mix remaining fruit and peanutbutter to spread on crackers)

Dinner
Coffee/Juice/Coco
Tuna and cheese pockets (Mix Bisquick with water. Roll into balls and flatter. Fill with a bit of tuna and gouda cheese. Pinch edges to center to form balls enclosing filling. Bake over stove in covered pot or wrap in foil and place in fire.)

Grocery List

** Everything in boxes should be repackaged in a zip-lock bag. Syrup and spices should be
put in backpacking containers. A 7-day pill box is great for spices.

Tang (1 small can)
Instant hot chocolate (8 pkgs)
instant juice (10 pkgs - the kind with artificial sweetener is lighter)
Dried apples, apricots and banana chips (3 cups)
chocolate or carob chips (1 cup)
Gram bites (2 cups)
Granola (1 1/2 cups)
Stoned wheat thins (1 box)
peanut butter (1 small plastic tub)
raisins (1/2 cup)
honey (1 small plastic bear)
4 4oz. summer sausages
egg noodles (2 Cups)
1 pkg. tortillas
8 servings dehydrated scrambled egg mix
1 pkg freeze-dried shreded potatos
1 pkg dried diced peppers and onions

1 can freeze dried green beans
salt
pepper
Seasoning salt
cinamon
2 round gouda cheeses
2 tins tunafish
2 cups Pancake mix
1 small plastic bottle syrup
Tuna helper mix (take out of the box and repackage in zip-lock bags)
2 beef bullion cubes
1 pkg dried tomato sauce with spices
2 pkgs Top Ramen noodles
freeze dried vegetables (1 C)
Bisquick (3 Cups)
1/4 cup brown sugar
